Mae paentiadau cyfoes Wendy Evans yn cael eu creu mewn arddull batik – sef y grefft o lifo gyda dei gwrth-gwyr, techneg hynafol o’r dwyrain canol sy’n gweithio wrth i’r cwyr atal darnau o’r darlun rhag cymryd lliw. Mae’r casglaid yma wedi ei ysbrydoli gan olygfeydd gwyllt a phrydferth arfordir Llŷn, a llwydda’r arlunydd i ddefnyddio’r arddull i gyfleu naws y mor a’r glannau, y creigiau garw a siapiau amlwg y mynyddoedd.
Argrafiad Giclee o 'Lleuad Las Enlli' ar gael.
Wendy Evans is a Pembrokeshire based artist with a degree in Graphic Design. Her contemporary paintings are created in batik: the art of wax-resist dyeing, an ancient technique that originated in the Far East. This new collection of original work is inspired by the wild and beautiful coastal scenery of Llŷn. Wendy captures the atmosphere of the sea and shores, the rugged cliffs and the distinctive mountains.
