Tonnau

Artist cymharol newydd i Tonnau yw MALCOLM GWYON ond mae dawn naturiol ac arddull unigryw ganddo. Mae ei ddefnydd o acrylic dau don yn creu naws ffotograff hen ffasiwn sepia, a’i dechneg o amlygu rhai lliwiau fflat bywiog mewn mannau sy’n dod a’r holl beth yn fyw mewn arddull sydd yn hollol fodern. Er iddo astudio celf yn yr ysgol, ni dderbyniodd hyfforddiant ffurfiol o unrhyw fath. Mae ei waith yn ymwneud a chysylltiadau Celtaidd a tirffurfiau lleol.

Mae’n byw yn Aberporth, Ceredigion.

MALCOLM GWYON is a reletively new artist in Tonnau, but he has a natural ability and an unique style. His use of two tone acrylics creates the feel of an old sepia photograph, and his technique of highlighting certain areas with flat vibrant colours brings the whole picture alive to create a modern feel. His art work is mostly of Welsh and Celtic connections and local landmarks.

He lives in Aberporth, Ceredigion.
